BlackRock, the leading asset management firm, has significantly increased its Bitcoin holdings over the past month, adding $1.57 billion worth of BTC to its stash.

This latest purchase, which came after Bitcoin's recent rebound to above $84,000, suggests that institutional investors are taking notice of the rally.

BlackRock now holds 801,769 BTC, worth approximately $67.87 billion at Bitcoin's current price, and makes up the largest part of the firm's $77.93 billion tracked crypto portfolio, accounting for over 87% of its total holdings.

Notably, BlackRock's aggressive Bitcoin accumulation has coincided with the continued interest in its spot Bitcoin ETF, IBIT, which has been attracting fresh capital from investors.
