Blast Layer-2 Project Ceases Operations Amid Financial Strains

Blast, a layer-2 project in the Ethereum ecosystem, has announced its shutdown. The team cited unsustainable operating costs and revenue as the reason for this decision. Users are required to migrate their assets from Blast to the Ethereum mainnet.

The withdrawal wait time was reduced to 24 hours, but is currently unavailable while the team completes the withdrawal of Lido assets held on Blast. This process is expected to last approximately one week.

The current user interface will remain open until October 26th. After this date, withdrawals will only be possible through direct interaction with the Blast Bridge contract on Ethereum.
