Bleap Takes Aim at Ready Card with Flat Structure and No Fees
The self-custodial cryptocurrency card market is heating up with two major players: Bleap and Ready Card. Both cards offer low or zero fees, but they differ significantly in their pricing structures and features.
Bleap stands out with its flat structure, no annual fee, and no monthly subscription. Users get 0% FX fees on every transaction, regardless of the currency or amount spent. Additionally, Bleap offers up to 20% cashback on gaming, streaming, and everyday spending without any category exclusions.
Ready Card, on the other hand, has a tiered pricing model with two plans: Ready Metal and Ready Lite. The Metal plan costs 120 USDC per year, paid upfront, and offers 3% cashback in STRK on up to $5,000 spent each month. However, this comes with some caveats, as the cashback program is funded by the Starknet Foundation and can be reduced or discontinued at any time.
When it comes to FX fees, Bleap has a clear advantage, charging 0% FX fees on every transaction. Ready Metal also offers 0% FX fees, but only for users who spend above $300 per month, making it less suitable for casual users.
