Blockchain Association Leadership Shifts Amid Crypto Clarity Act Fallout

Share

The Blockchain Association has seen a leadership shift shortly after the crypto Clarity Act fizzled. The association's executive director, Kristin Smith, will step down from her role on June 30.

Smith has been at the helm of the association since 2017 and played a key role in shaping its advocacy efforts, including those related to the Clarity Act. However, despite her efforts, the bill did not pass Congress last year.

The association's board of directors will now begin searching for Smith's replacement. In a statement, the association said that it is committed to continuing its work on behalf of the blockchain industry and its stakeholders.
