Blockchain.com is planning to list on the U.S. stock market this year and aims to raise around $500 million through an initial public offering (IPO). The company, one of the oldest names in crypto, is seeking a valuation between $4 billion and $6 billion at listing.

The IPO plans come as cryptocurrency markets recover from a downturn that had slowed down activity among crypto companies seeking public listings. Blockchain.com filed a confidential Form S-1 with the SEC in May, outlining a Class A share offering.

The company has been profitable on an adjusted basis for three consecutive years and has raised $537 million in total equity funding. Founded in 2011, Blockchain.com began by tracking Bitcoin blockchain activity before expanding into wallets and exchange services.
