Blockchain.com and NYSE Team Up on Tokenized Stocks

Share

Blockchain.com and NYSE Group have formed an agreement to explore access to tokenized U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs. The proposed service would use NYSE's planned digital trading venue, allowing eligible global users to trade around-the-clock.

The two companies plan to integrate their systems, enabling data sharing between Blockchain.com and NYSE. This integration aims to provide a seamless experience for users, allowing them to access tokenized versions of NYSE-listed securities from within the Blockchain.com platform.

The proposed venue is designed to support features familiar to crypto traders, including 24/7 access, fractional ownership, stablecoin funding, and on-chain settlement. If launched, this system could give Blockchain.com's global customer base a new way to trade tokenized versions of exchange-listed shares and ETFs.
