Blockchain Networks Face Off: NOWPayments Payout Data Reveals Winners and Losers

A six-month review of enterprise payout activity by NOWPayments has revealed key performance benchmarks for various blockchain networks. The analysis compared data from TRON, BNB Smart Chain, Solana, Bitcoin, and Ethereum to help businesses choose the optimal platform for their needs.

The results showed that Solana led in terms of speed, with an average payout time of 1 minute and 45 seconds. However, TRON dominated in terms of total monetary volume, handling 43.69% of all payouts during this period.

Billing high-frequency transactions as its main advantage, BNB Smart Chain accounted for 48.23% of individual transfer payouts despite holding a lower share of the overall payout value.

Kate Lifshits, Commercial Director at NOWPayments, emphasized that businesses should evaluate their needs and select the network or route accordingly: 'The useful question is not which network tops a leaderboard. It is what a specific payout flow needs to optimize.'
