BlueWallet Introduces Custom Entropy Feature in Version 8.0.0

BlueWallet has released version 8.0.0 of its app, which includes a custom entropy feature for generating Bitcoin private keys.

This new feature allows users to input their own randomness into the wallet creation process, either through coin flips or rolls of dice.

The goal is to produce 256 bits of entropy, which is the standard threshold for generating a secure Bitcoin seed phrase.

Users can switch to Advanced mode during setup and manually input entropy, and if it falls short of the target, the app will automatically fill in the gap using the device's system RNG.
