BMV's Bitcoin Streams Yield $13,105 as Treasury Value Climbs 21% and Gold Option Secured
Bluebird Mining Ventures Ltd (LSE:BMV), a gold streaming, mining, and treasury firm, has released its August 2026 operational update. The company's Bitcoin streaming assets generated about $13,105 in revenue for the month without additional capital expenditure.
The Indicative Treasury Asset Value rose by 21% month-over-month to roughly $876,975, mainly driven by gains in Bitcoin and gold-linked assets during a month when Bitcoin increased from the low $60,000s to the high $70,000s and gold rose roughly 10%. This marks Bitcoin's strongest monthly gain in nearly two years.
The company secured an option on the Santa Teresa Gold Project, granting exposure to an NI 43-101 Inferred Mineral Resource of 64,000 ounces of gold at 8.7 grams per tonne. The deal structure limits upfront capital while aligning additional payments with independently verified value creation, consistent with BMV's model of acquiring identifiable gold value without assuming open-ended exploration risk.
Following the disposal of South Korean subsidiaries on September 2, 2026, BMV is refocusing on three strategic pillars: Energy Harvesting, encompassing Bitcoin streaming and energy-related infrastructure; Metal Harvesting, involving streaming and royalty interests in gold and other monetary metals; and Treasury, centered on accumulating scarce monetary assets like Bitcoin and gold. Throughout September 2026, the board is formulating commercial models, capital allocation frameworks, and governance structures to support this approach.
