BNB Chain Dominates Stablecoin Growth with Record 985,000 New Holders
BNB Chain's stablecoin growth has accelerated at an unprecedented rate. In just one week, from September 21 to 28, the network added a staggering 985,000 new stablecoin holders. This represents more than half of the combined growth across all top-ten blockchains during the same period.
BNB Chain's closest competitor, Base, managed only 202,500 new holders in the same timeframe. The surge in BNB Chain's growth deepens a trend that has been building for months. In August, BNB Chain overtook Tron to become the network with the most stablecoin-holding addresses.
USDT is the primary driver of this growth, accounting for approximately 845,900 new addresses. Circle's USDC contributed another 390,800 new holders. Together, Tether and Circle represented roughly 95% of new stablecoin addresses across the top ten chains for the week.
