$BNB Chain Overtakes Tron as Largest Stablecoin Holder Network
The BNB Chain has surpassed Tron to become the largest blockchain in terms of stablecoin holders, reaching a significant milestone in the stablecoin ecosystem. According to data from Token Terminal, $BNB Chain currently has around 79.3 million stablecoin-holding addresses, surpassing Tron's 76.1 million.
This accomplishment signifies a substantial change in the use of blockchain technology over the past 12 months. The number of stablecoin holders on $BNB Chain has increased from approximately 42 million addresses to nearly 80 million since late 2024, representing a roughly 54.5 percent increase.
While Tron's user base grew during this time, it did so at a slower pace, allowing $BNB Chain to close the gap and take the lead. The growth of stablecoin holders is an essential indicator of blockchain activity, reflecting actual wallet adoption rather than just speculative trading volume.
