BNB Surges Past $100 Billion Market Cap, But Lags Behind Major Coins
BNB is trading at $781 after spiking 3.9% in the last 24 hours, its market cap now above $100 billion and making it the fourth-largest cryptocurrency.
This growth comes from steady demand tied to Binance's operations, with buyers consistently stepping in during August and September supported by higher Binance reserves and increased volume in tokenized stocks on the BNB Chain.
However, despite its 12.1% rise over the past month, BNB trailed nearly every major coin during a broad market surge, including Bitcoin which climbed 5.3% in the last day.
This is because fewer traders are betting against BNB, as most holders use it to pay lower trading fees on Binance or earn staking rewards rather than speculating on its price.
