BNB Surges Past $767 as Remittix Targets Major PayFi Breakout
The price of Binance Coin (BNB) surged past $767 after the Federal Reserve raised interest rates, hitting an intraday high near $772 before easing back toward $750.
This reaction demonstrated renewed demand for exchange and smart-contract tokens, despite the Fed's 25 basis point hike in its target range to 3.75%-4%.
The move above $767 briefly returned BNB's market capitalization to around $101 billion, but at its latest price near $750, it dropped back down to just under $100 billion, making the $767-$772 region a key resistance area for buyers.
BNB benefits from exchange utility, BNB Chain activity, and institutional recognition. Grayscale recently assigned it the largest weighting in a smart-contract-platform fund that excludes Ethereum.
