BNY Integrates Crypto Staking with Proof-of-Stake Networks

Bank of New York (BNY) has partnered with Galaxy to integrate institutional crypto custody with Proof-of-Stake (PoS) staking. This collaboration will enable clients to earn yield within a regulated banking framework.

The new partnership combines BNY's digital asset custody platform with Galaxy's infrastructure for PoS networks, expanding the suite of services available to institutional investors.

Galaxy will provide the technological infrastructure and expertise in validating PoS networks, while BNY continues its role as asset custodian. This setup removes the need for institutional investors to use separate providers for storage and staking, simplifying operational workflows and risk management.
