Share

Global custody bank BNY Mellon is reportedly discussing a broad digital-asset infrastructure partnership with Payward, the parent company of cryptocurrency exchange Kraken.

The talks are focused on cooperation in digital-asset products, custody, asset management, trading, payments, and financial market infrastructure, according to CoinDesk.

The partnership would utilize Payward's B2B platform, Payward Services, and is expected to be similar to the infrastructure agreement Payward recently signed with Nasdaq.

The discussions are ongoing, and it remains unclear whether the companies will reach a final agreement.
