Bottomline Unveils Global Pay Connect, Bridge Between Traditional Payment Systems and On-Chain Networks

Financial technology company Bottomline has launched Global Pay Connect, a new platform that connects financial institutions with on-chain payment networks while allowing them to use their existing payment infrastructure and messaging standards.

The service combines Bottomline's existing payment connectivity with Chainlink's technology, including the Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) and Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE).

By using CCIP, Global Pay Connect enables the movement of data and value across supported blockchain networks. This allows financial institutions to access blockchain-based settlement and tokenized assets without having to construct separate technical connections for each network.
