Breez SDK Simplifies Stablecoin Payments for Bitcoin Users

Breez SDK has introduced a new stablecoin feature that allows apps built on its platform to accept payments from over 30 networks, making it easier for users with Bitcoin balances to receive payments in digital dollars. This move aims to simplify the use of stablecoins, which often run on various crypto networks requiring different wallets.

The Breez SDK is a developer toolkit that enables apps to add Bitcoin payments without building the payment infrastructure themselves. It handles wallet creation, sending and receiving, as well as Lightning Network payments, allowing developers to offer bitcoin features with just a few lines of code.

With this new feature, users can choose the sender's network and amount, and the SDK generates a deposit address showing what will arrive. The sender pays from their usual wallet as normal, while Flashnet converts the payment in the background, and the funds land in the receiver's non-custodial wallet as Bitcoin or dollars if using the stable balance feature.

This is the latest usability upgrade from Breez, following features such as Passkey Login, instant Cash App onboarding, and Stable Balance. Breez has been working to make Bitcoin apps feel more like regular fintech apps by adding features like passkey login, instant onboarding, dollar-denominated balances, and now cross-chain stablecoin payments.
