Open USD (OUSD), a stablecoin issued by Bridge, a Stripe company, has launched on four major networks: Base, Ethereum, Solana, and Tempo. This move provides businesses and developers with access to fee-free minting and redemption of OUSD at a 1:1 rate.

OUSD can be integrated through Mastercard, Stripe, and Visa platforms, giving users another option for seamless transactions. The token's reserves are held by reputable institutions BlackRock, Lead Bank, and BNY, with Bridge handling issuance.

Notably, Coinbase has announced plans to begin supporting OUSD on October 1, expanding the stablecoin's distribution network across two major smart-contract ecosystems: Solana and Ethereum, as well as Base and Tempo.
