BTCC Celebrates 15 Years with Enhanced Security and Expanded Offerings
BTCC, the world’s oldest cryptocurrency exchange, has unveiled its refreshed Trust Center as part of its 15th-anniversary celebrations. The exchange, which is also a Platinum Sponsor of TOKEN2049 Singapore, emphasizes that security has always been its top priority. Alex Hung, Head of Operations, highlighted that BTCC’s resilience through bull and bear markets, regulatory changes, and extreme volatility sets it apart from competitors focused on fees and product listings. “The harder thing to build is the resilience to last,” Hung stated, underscoring the exchange’s commitment to long-term security.
The Trust Center now showcases BTCC’s enhanced security measures, including multi-signature cold storage, 1:1 asset storage, and 24/7 anti-money laundering (AML) controls. The exchange also collaborates with industry leaders like CertiK, Chainalysis, Forter, and SEON for independent audits. BTCC maintains a 100% reserve ratio and a $25.5 million Risk Reserve Fund, with no recorded losses to hackers since its founding in 2011. These efforts support BTCC’s 0-Barrier Trading theme, which includes zero trading fees on 380+ pairs, 24/7 localized support, and seamless copy trading.
BTCC is expanding beyond crypto, now offering US stocks, gold, forex, and commodities. Hung noted that traders increasingly seek a unified platform for diverse assets. “We don’t aim to become the biggest. We aim to be the ones that raise the standard,” Hung said, emphasizing security and compliance as key goals. The refreshed Trust Center is available online, and BTCC will be at TOKEN2049 Singapore for attendee interactions.
