Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley says that investors being too busy is the biggest hurdle to cryptocurrency adoption. In an interview, he mentioned that advisors are increasingly moving clients from self-custodied Bitcoin and Solana into ETFs, citing 'peace of mind and simplicity' as the reasons for this shift. Horsley also emphasized the importance of a stable market, stating that a sudden surge or massive dip in price can deter investors. He noted that the Securities and Exchange Commission's proposed crypto custody framework for registered investment advisors would allow advisors to help clients hold stablecoin, use on-chain vaults, or own tokenized assets, which is expected to start showing up next year. Bitwise's NEAR ETF has attracted over $50 million in net inflows, and Horsley sees index products as an emerging bridge between AI and crypto.
