In a recent statement on X, Buterin emphasized the importance of formal verification as a defensive advantage in cryptography. He pointed out that projects like Arklib are already applying these methods today.

To put his money where his mouth is, Buterin noted that he keeps roughly 90% of his net worth in cryptocurrency, effectively demonstrating his vote of confidence in the field.
