Bybit has partnered with OpenPayd to simplify its fiat operations. The exchange already offers various ways for users to deposit and withdraw traditional money, but this new deal aims to condense those processes into a single connection.

The collaboration will provide Bybit with access to USD SWIFT, virtual IBANs, foreign exchange, retail fiat on/off-ramps, and institutional settlement through a single API. This means the exchange can handle various aspects of traditional money movement, such as deposits, withdrawals, and currency conversions, without needing multiple providers.

For Bybit's users, this partnership will result in lower fees for larger transactions. For example, depositing $100,000 would cost only $11 through OpenPayd, compared to an illustrative 0.25% fee that would amount to $250.

Bybit has more than 80 million users and is looking to improve its fiat infrastructure. The exchange believes this partnership will make its operations more efficient and reliable, allowing it to serve both individual traders and institutions more effectively.
