California Teens Face Decades in Prison for 'Bitcoin Beach Boy Bandit' Home Invasion

Two teenagers from California have been charged with kidnapping, aggravated assault, and burglary after a brazen home invasion in Scottsdale. Skylar LaPaille and Jackson Sullivan, both 17 years old at the time of the incident, allegedly drove 10 hours to Arizona before carrying out the crime.

The victims, who live in a $1.1 million home near Pismo Beach, were bound with black tape and threatened by the duo. The attackers demanded access to the victim's crypto wallet, which contained millions in Bitcoin.

LaPaille and Sullivan used a ruse to gain entry into the house, dressing as delivery workers before restraining and terrorizing the couple. A third person was involved, who called the victims on speakerphone and demanded money, claiming it was related to a previous investment scam.
