Capital B Secures €21M to Fuel Bitcoin Treasury Expansion
Capital B has announced a €21 million private placement to expand its Bitcoin treasury strategy. The funding will be used for additional Bitcoin purchases and balance-sheet support, with net proceeds estimated at €19.9 million.
The company plans to acquire an additional 270 Bitcoins, lifting its holdings towards 3,415 BTC. If all warrants are exercised, Capital B could receive another €135.8 million, although this is conditional on investor decisions and prices.
Adam Back, co-founder of Blockstream, and Paris-based asset manager TOBAM were among the institutional investors involved in the private placement. The company will issue 36.2 million shares with four subscription warrants attached to each share, priced at €0.58 per unit.
Closing is expected from August 31, with a one-for-ten reverse stock split planned for September 8, 2026.
