Cardano (ADA) saw a significant decline in value over the past week, falling by 10% after a sell signal appeared on its daily chart on September 26. This downturn was accompanied by a decrease in futures-market demand and a reduction in positions held by large holders.

The open interest in ADA futures dropped by 9% during the week, from $1.99 billion to $1.81 billion, indicating that traders reduced their leveraged exposure as the token weakened.

Large holders also decreased their holdings, cutting approximately 90 million ADA, worth around $22.5 million, since September 20.

The daily chart for Cardano shows a key midpoint support level of $0.24 within a parallel channel. A break below this level could expose the channel's lower boundary near $0.21.
