Cardano ADA Struggles Despite x402 Integration Boost
Cardano's ADA token is showing mixed technical signals despite its recent integration of the x402 software development kit, which strengthens the network's fundamental outlook by enabling artificial intelligence agents and decentralized applications to make payments with ADA.
The Cardano Foundation announced support for the x402 SDK on September 21, allowing AI agents and apps to pay for API calls using ADA or other Cardano-based assets. This integration broadens ADA's use beyond conventional transfers, staking, and decentralized finance.
However, Cardano's price remains affected by wider cryptocurrency-market selling pressure, leaving the token near an important short-term resistance at $0.248. The x402 protocol turns the internet's largely unused '402 Payment Required' response into an automated payment mechanism.
