Cardano ADA Token Surges 10.5% on Dijkstra Upgrade Hopes

Cardano's ADA token rose by around 10.5% following the deployment of the Dijkstra network upgrade, which aims to boost throughput and DeFi support.

The upgrade, which includes features such as Nested Transactions and Linear Leios, was accompanied by a 12-month allocation of 120 million ADA from the treasury to stimulate growth in the DeFi sector.

However, despite the short-term gains, analysts note that ADA's price remains capped by its 200-day average, with momentum signals pointing to downside risks.
