Cardano Price Holds Steady Despite Petrobras and Japan Deals
The Cardano price has remained stable at around $0.242, clinging to its 200-day moving average. This comes despite two recent announcements that could have potentially boosted the price: Petrobras, a state oil company in Brazil, is testing Cardano for tracking aviation fuel, and the Cardano Foundation has partnered with Pacific Meta, a blockchain incubator in Japan.
The Petrobras project involves developing two applications on Cardano, one for tracking the environmental benefits of sustainable aviation fuel and another for tracking the production, transport, and consumption of diesel. However, these projects are still in the research stage and no date has been set for regular operation.
The Cardano price has been fluctuating within a band of around 8% between $0.2385 and $0.2586 since September 21. A close above $0.26 could signal a breakout, while a close below $0.22 could indicate a decline. The 200-day moving average is currently at $0.243.
Looking ahead, the completion of the first stage of Leios, an extension to raise the network's throughput, is planned for the fourth quarter of 2026. Additionally, production operation of the alternative node Amaru is set to begin in November.
