Cardano Price Jumps as Petrobras Partnership Sparks Blockchain Development
Cardano's price has seen a significant boost following an announcement by the Cardano Foundation regarding two research-and-development applications with Petrobras and PUC-Rio.
The projects aim to track sustainable-aviation-fuel claims and Diesel R renewable-fuel data on the Cardano blockchain. Although the news is promising, it's essential to note that these are R&D applications, not commercial agreements requiring ADA purchases or token payments.
According to the source, ADA was trading at $0.2487 on October 2, after rising around 2-3% following the announcement. However, this still leaves the token below its nearest daily resistance at $0.2523 and facing a more substantial band above it.
The chart's trend structure is constructive rather than uniformly bullish, with a daily RSI of 59.5 indicating positive momentum without an overheated market. The moving-average configuration supports this view, with the 12-day EMA standing at $0.2434 and above the 26-day EMA at $0.2328.
However, momentum confirmation is less clear in the MACD data, with a bearish crossover configuration by a narrow margin. A sustained close above $0.2655 would strengthen the bullish setup, while a failure to hold the nearest ceilings and support areas would weaken the immediate case.
