The Cardano Foundation and Blockforce have developed a supply chain verification system for Brazilian exporters to comply with European Union deforestation regulations.

The system anchors over 500,000 records on the Cardano blockchain, including data from Azzas 2154, Latin America's largest fashion conglomerate, which has traced its leather supply chain across more than 6,200 suppliers using the platform.

The dual-ledger architecture combines Hyperledger Fabric for sensitive business data and Cardano blockchain for storing cryptographic verification proofs, ensuring privacy and compliance without revealing trade secrets.
