Cardano Teams with Pacific Meta to Deepen Japanese Footprint
Cardano, a third-generation blockchain utilizing a proof-of-stake consensus mechanism called Ouroboros, has formed a strategic partnership with Pacific Meta, a Tokyo-based blockchain accelerator and incubator. This collaboration aims to help Japanese companies develop and deploy real-world blockchain applications. The Cardano Foundation, which oversees the open-source Cardano blockchain, has been dedicated to driving enterprise adoption and improving infrastructure stability globally.
Pacific Meta provides end-to-end strategic planning, blockchain development, and market entry services to East Asia, making it an ideal partner for Cardano's Japanese expansion. The partnership could streamline the onboarding process of traditional legacy businesses to safely integrate smart contract features. However, the ADA price has not received a significant boost from this news and is currently trading at $0.245.
The Cardano open interest (OI) has witnessed a notable recovery in recent weeks, bouncing from $405.90M to $543.5M. This indicates that market participants are opening new positions in ADA's derivatives contracts in anticipation of a dynamic move. As the pioneer cryptocurrency Bitcoin rebounds to the $85,000 region, demand for altcoins, including Cardano, is rising again.
