Cardano's Amaru Node Update: Remittix Gains Momentum with Payment Test and High-Yield Savings Product
The Cardano project has made significant strides with its Amaru node update, which is an infrastructure story that could improve client diversity and give operators another implementation to use as the network develops. This technical milestone is a notable achievement for ADA holders, although the translation of engineering progress into token demand will take adoption over time.
Remittix, on the other hand, has a more immediate consumer-product angle with its final presale price set at $0.46. The platform is developing a payment system called PayFi, and 1,000 existing RTX holders are testing it ahead of the November 24 debut. Remittix Earn is also being developed, with an advertised rate of up to 22% APY on selected assets.
The comparison between Remittix and Nexo becomes more compelling when looking at the value the market has assigned to the NEXO token, alongside the scale of its established platform. CoinMarketCap showed NEXO at about $551 million in circulating market cap and $852 million in fully diluted value on October 2. This market precedent makes the product roadmap more interesting for RTX buyers.
