Cardano's Golden Cross Imminent as Daily MA Converge
Cardano's (ADA) daily chart is about to experience its first major golden cross of 2026, as the moving averages are on the verge of converging.
The daily MA 50 is steadily rising and is poised to cross over the daily MA 200, a bullish sign that has been absent from Cardano's chart for some time. This will be ADA's first major golden cross since August 2025, when the price reached $0.92 for a short period.
Following this brief rally, Cardano experienced a series of lower highs between $0.83 and $0.92 before dipping in price and completing a daily death cross in November 2025. A weekly death cross was completed in May 2026, which is the opposite of a golden cross and is viewed as a bearish signal.
Currently, ADA is trading up 8% in the last 24 hours to $0.256 at the time of writing, with several altcoins posting significant gains on both a daily and weekly basis. Bitcoin's price has gone sideways, allowing altcoins to benefit from the trend.
