Cardone Sees Real Estate Reset as Perfect Time to Stockpile Bitcoin
Commercial real estate is facing a historic reset due to high interest rates, says Grant Cardone. He predicts that properties are being pushed below replacement cost and sees this as an opportunity to stack Bitcoin on his balance sheet.
Cardone's company, Cardone Capital, has been buying up apartments in Boca Raton, Florida, at discounted prices and then using the proceeds from renting them out to buy more Bitcoin. He aims to accumulate 25,000 BTC and 25,000 apartments.
Cardone considers real estate his 'Trojan horse' for Bitcoin, allowing him to hold onto it on his balance sheet while still benefiting from the returns of a rental property.
He notes that REITs (Real Estate Investment Trusts) are unable to own Bitcoin due to tax laws and regulations. This creates a competitive moat for Cardone Capital's strategy, which combines real estate with cryptocurrency investments.
