CFTC Sends Crypto Rules Proposal to White House as DigiTap Tops $12.2M in Presale
The Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has submitted a new crypto market rulemaking proposal to the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs for review.
This move comes after the Senate's failure to advance the Clarity Act, which aimed to provide clearer rules around digital-asset markets.
The CFTC filing is titled 'Regulation Crypto Asset Transactions and Regulation Crypto Asset Markets,' but detailed rule text remains unpublished.
In contrast to other projects with roadmap-only presales, DigiTap has already raised more than $12.2 million and sold over 366 million $TAP tokens, with a live beta app available through the App Store and Google Play.
