CFTC Submits Crypto Regulation Proposal to White House Amid CLARITY Act Failure
The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has submitted a proposal for regulating the crypto market to the White House Office of Management and Budget.
This move follows the failure of the CLARITY Act in the Senate, which aimed to grant the CFTC primary oversight authority over digital assets.
The new proposal is currently under review and has not been finalized.
