Chainlink and Remittix Drive Crypto Payment Innovations
Chainlink's work connecting financial institutions to blockchain infrastructure is driving renewed interest in the LINK token. The project's focus on institutional connectivity aligns with the growing trend of banks exploring tokenized assets and on-chain payment workflows. This comes as Remittix expands its PayFi testing program, inviting 1,000 existing RTX holders to test EUR and USD payment routes through its app.
Remittix aims to attract users with a wallet and live trading venue, potentially creating a repeat customer base for its payment services. The World Bank estimates global remittances at $856 billion in 2024, suggesting significant market potential for Remittix's PayFi solution. The project reports over 10,000 iOS wallet downloads and $50 million in cumulative trading volume on its Markets platform.
Chainlink's developments, including CCIP 2.0 and institutional connectivity tools, position LINK as a key infrastructure asset. The token traded around $14.16 on October 5, with its long-term value tied to the adoption of on-chain finance by financial institutions. Remittix's RTX token is set to launch on November 24, 2026, following a $0.46 final presale stage.
The RTX launch could gain momentum if invited holders become repeat payment customers while the Markets platform continues to attract traders. Remittix has already raised over $32 million toward a $36 million cap, with more than 40,000 presale participants. The opening PayFi phase is being watched closely as an indicator of the project's growth potential.
