Chainlink and XRP: Two Different Paths to $200 and $28
Standard Chartered has predicted that Chainlink and XRP will reach $200 and $28 by 2030, respectively. According to Geoff Kendrick's report from August 10, Chainlink should hit $13 by the end of 2026, then move to $41, $82, and $133 before reaching $200 in 2030. For XRP, Kendrick set a target of $2.80 by the end of 2026, followed by $7, $13, and $20, reaching $28 by 2030.
Chainlink is currently trading above its predicted timeline, having climbed about 72% since Kendrick's note, and it is trading around 9% above the $13 milestone for 2026. In contrast, XRP needs to rise about 81% by December 31 to meet the $2.80 target.
XRP has attracted greater investment from funds, with U.S. spot XRP ETFs seeing inflows of about $75.6 million from September 22 to 25. However, Chainlink's rally is heavily reliant on futures trading, which can shift quickly. If LINK dips below $13 before the end of 2026, it could fall behind schedule.
