Chainlink Expands to Arc and MOVA, Connecting Institutional Blockchains
Chainlink has expanded its blockchain infrastructure to two new networks, Arc and MOVA, as financial institutions increasingly adopt blockchain-based technology.
The expansion provides developers on both networks with access to Chainlink services designed for market data and communication between blockchains. This includes Data Feeds, which provide access to market pricing information, and Data Streams, which deliver lower-latency data for applications requiring faster updates. The Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP), which allows applications to transfer information and assets across networks, has also been integrated into both Arc and MOVA.
Arc is a permissioned layer-1 blockchain designed specifically for institutional financial applications, with major financial institutions and market infrastructure companies such as BlackRock and Visa on its validator group. The network uses USDC for gas payments, simplifying participation for businesses and reducing the need to manage additional tokens solely for network fees.
MOVA Chain represents a different application of Chainlink technology, focusing on stablecoins and decentralized finance applications. By adopting CCIP in July 2026, MOVA gained infrastructure for communicating and transferring supported assets across blockchain networks, connecting to more than 50 blockchain networks and expanding the potential reach of applications operating across the ecosystem.
