Chainlink Price Bounce Attracts Profit-Taking from Small Investors
Chainlink (LINK) has seen its price rebound strongly, rising to $14.89 after falling below $7 in June.
Despite this increase, on-chain analytics platform Santiment reports that the number of Chainlink wallets with balances above zero has dropped to 912,020.
This decline could indicate that some small investors have taken profits on the altcoin, but Santiment notes that it's not a negative indicator in itself.
The exit of these individual investors may simply mean that their LINK was bought by stronger investors, as Chainlink's total investor base is near its all-time highs after steady growth throughout 2026.
