Chainlink's price has risen about 4.3% over the past week to trade near $8.50, nearing the upper end of its recent range after Standard Chartered reportedly set a $200 target for 2030.

The bank cited Chainlink's potential role in institutional tokenization and its ability to connect blockchains with external data and allow assets to move between different networks.

Chainlink has been expanding its presence in institutional tokenization projects, working with companies like Swift, Euroclear, Mastercard, Fidelity International, UBS, and ANZ. It has also worked with the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation on tokenized assets and infrastructure designed to support collateral mobility.

However, technical analysis shows that Chainlink's current rally needs more momentum before it can be considered a strong trend. The Average Directional Index (ADX) is currently at 12.72, indicating weak or range-bound conditions.
