Chainlink Reserve Surpasses 6 Million Tokens as LINK Price Eyes Breakout
Chainlink's Reserve has accumulated over 6 million LINK tokens after adding another 373,791 tokens in September. This significant increase in holdings is notable as it impacts the token's supply dynamics.
The accumulation of LINK by the Reserve is part of its designed function to hold onto tokens generated from revenue within the Chainlink ecosystem. The current balance now stands at 6,047,498 LINK, with a total value exceeding $4.3 million.
LINK price has shown significant recovery in September, trading as high as $14.20 on September 25 and closing at $13.93 on the same day. Analyst Trader Symba identifies the key resistance zone between $14.50 and $14.80, predicting a breakout above this range could push LINK toward $16.60 and then $18.00.
However, it's essential to consider broader market factors, including demand, liquidity, and price action, which can impact Chainlink's next move. If the token fails to clear the resistance zone, it may consolidate or retest lower support levels.
