Chainlink Showcases Automated Cash-Dividend Workflow Across Four Blockchains

Chainlink has demonstrated an automated cash-dividend workflow for tokenized equities across four blockchains at the 2026 Swift Hackathon. The project connected announcement, payment, and final reconciliation without manual intervention in the process.

The submission used Swift messaging alongside Chainlink services to coordinate a corporate action across different ledgers. This addressed what happens after a tokenized share exists, rather than announcing a new equity token.

Chainlink built the solution around a cash-dividend corporate action, using its Runtime Environment to orchestrate the workflow. The demonstration extended from the dividend announcement through payment and final reconciliation, forming one coordinated workflow across four blockchains.

The approach gave institutions a familiar data framework for interacting with assets held on blockchain networks. This connection between messaging and blockchain operations is central to the project.
