Chainlink Surges Past XRP as Crypto Market Sees Mixed Recovery
Chainlink (LINK) has made an impressive price recovery this year after falling to $7 in June, while its rival XRP is still lagging behind.
LINK has erased its losses for the year and moved into positive territory, now trading at $15, up 9% in the past 24 hours. This price implies a 22.3% year-to-date gain for Chainlink, which has gained 108% over the past 90 days.
XRP, on the other hand, has also recovered from its June low but is still down for the year, currently trading at $1.50, up 1.7% in the past 24 hours and 44% over the past 90 days.
LINK's recovery may give XRP holders an example of how another major cryptocurrency has recovered from a significant drop, but it does not mean XRP will necessarily follow the same path.
