ChartNerd Rejects XRP Breakout Targets
XRP's long-term chart is being studied by analysts for its cup-and-handle structure, which could indicate a broader breakout. However, ChartNerd, a chart analyst, has rejected the targets of $750-$1,000, citing inconsistent Fibonacci levels.
The cup-and-handle formation on XRP's chart spans approximately 8.5 years, beginning around XRP's 2018 price peak and extending through the current market structure. The rounded cup has already formed, while the decline following XRP's 2025 peak represents the developing handle.
XRP is currently trading near $1.47, with the handle still above two marked Fibonacci support levels: the 0.5 retracement at approximately $0.894 and the 0.618 level at around $0.642. These levels are presented as potential support areas rather than confirmed future lows.
Fibonacci extensions place conditional upside targets at approximately $8.47, $13.70, and $27.31, corresponding to the 1.272, 1.414, and 1.618 Fibonacci extensions, respectively. These levels are technical projections, not confirmed price outcomes or deadlines.
