ChatGPT Defends XRP Against 'Fool Coin' Label with New Price Scenarios
XRP's value is still disputed among investors and traders. Veteran trader Peter Brandt has labeled XRP as a 'fool coin', arguing that its role in payments does not increase its value compared to Bitcoin. However, ChatGPT disagrees with this assertion, stating that payment use can have investment value, but it's not a guarantee of price growth.
ChatGPT explains how banks utilize XRP as a bridge asset for international transfers, buying and quickly selling the token without holding onto it for long periods. This means that while billions of dollars pass through the network, very little XRP stays in anyone's hands.
According to ChatGTP, only 25% of XRP's market value comes from visible ledger activities, with the remaining 75% supporting future adoption. The model estimates XRP's fair value at $1.35, which is about 9% lower than its current price.
ChatGPT also proposed two possible value scenarios for XRP by the end of 2027: if Swift's ledger dominates cross-border payments, XRP could be worth around $1.80; if Ripple's networks take the lead, it could reach $4.25. These estimates are based on judgment rather than hard numbers.
