Circle Brings Native Support to USDC, EURC on Plasma

Stablecoin issuer Circle has expanded its reach by launching its USDC and EURC stablecoins on the layer-1 blockchain Plasma (XPL). The integration allows for native support of these stablecoins, as well as cross-chain transfer capabilities via Circle's Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) and Bridge Kit.

This move aims to provide institutions with a seamless on- and off-ramp between fiat currencies and digital assets. Developers will also be able to integrate USDC and EURC directly into their applications, enhancing the usability of these stablecoins in various use cases.
