Circle Internet Stock Slides on Profit-Taking After Binance Deal
Circle Internet Group Inc's stock price is down by 4.7% in morning trading, retracing from an opening value near $92 to currently trade at $88.66.
This decline comes as a result of profit-taking after the company's recent high-profile announcements, which had driven the stock's surge earlier this week.
The announcements included Binance's disclosure of a $100 million equity stake and a new five-year commercial agreement to expand USDC distribution, as well as Circle's presentation at the Autonomous 2026 Future of Commerce Symposium on September 23, where the company highlighted the Arc network's strong first-week metrics, including $1 billion in value attracted and $500,000 in transaction fees generated.
However, with these catalysts now fully priced into the market, today's session reflects a classic post-announcement reversal.
