Circle's second-quarter financial results have been released, showing a significant increase in revenue and USDC circulation. The company behind the USD Coin (USDC) reported a 19% year-over-year growth in USDC circulation to $73.3 billion. This is accompanied by a 151% surge in quarterly on-chain transaction volume, reaching $14.8 trillion.

The increase in revenue and transaction volumes suggests that stablecoins are becoming increasingly important for digital payments and decentralized finance. Circle's total revenue and reserve income came in at $701 million, up 7% from the same period last year. Adjusted EBITDA rose 8% to $143 million, indicating the company's focus on operational efficiency.

Circle has been expanding its partnerships with traditional financial institutions, including major payment processors and banking platforms. This is part of its strategy to position USDC as a bridge between conventional finance and blockchain-based systems.
