Citi Boosts Crypto Price Targets Amid Renewed Market Optimism
Citi, a global investment bank, has raised its 12-month Bitcoin target to $113,000 from $82,000. The move comes as a result of renewed inflows into crypto investment products and an improved overall market mood.
The bank also increased its Ethereum target for the same period from $2,240 to $3,028.
Citi had previously slashed its Bitcoin target in July after ETF inflows dried up and US crypto legislation stalled. However, it now expects renewed growth in the sector, driven by improved market conditions and increased adoption.
